- 2 cans crushed Tomatoes
- 18 Basil leaves, fresh and minced
- 1 can Chicken broth
- 1 cup Whipping cream
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- Boil the tomatoes and broth in a large saucepan.
- Reduce heat to medium as it boils then cover the saucepan. Let is simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add basil and sugar to the soup.
- Reduce heat to low then add cream and butter with continuous stirring.
- Cook until the butter melts.
