Pani Puri also known as " golgappa " in Hindi, is a popular street snack in India, Nepal and other southern asian countries.Pani puri's popularity has started hitting on the streets of America, England and many other Western states too.
Pani Puri is basically a spicy snack combined of three components.
- Puri: These are deep fried bread made out of Semolina flour. These are puffed, crispy, round and hollow within where u put the rest of components.
- Pani: Pani is actually a Devanagari term for water. But in this case Pani means spiced up water with Masalas, Coriander, Mint leaves etc. These are filled inside the pani puris.
- Fillings: Filling contain of mashed potatoes , spices, onions etc. (See the Ingredients for details).
Pani Puri is then eaten a whole at once and is kinda' fun food to enjoy.
I have never tasted this roti. Looks really yummy and bookmarked right away. will be trying..
