Lemon Roast Chicken is a mouth watering, very delicious Chicken Recipe. It might be a little tedious to cook, but it is no doubt a wonderful dish to enjoy in your dinner. Make these Chicken roasted blended with a perfect taste of lemon is one great meat recipe.

[This recipe will take 1.30 hrs of total cook time yields 6 servings]
Ingredients:
- 1 pound " Broiler-fryer" Chicken
- 1 lemon (halved)
- 1 1/2 tsp salt-free Lemon-Pepper Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp dried Thyme
- 2 fresh Rosemary sprigs
Procedure:
- Loosen the skin around chicken breast, thigh and leg.
- Combine lemon-pepper seasonings, rub half of it under the skin.
- Cut the lemon into quarters and place two of them inside the cavity, put rosemary sprigs in there too.
- Skewer the openings.
- Tie the drumsticks with kitchen string.
- Place the chicken on a rack in roasting pan (breast side up).
- Squeeze the remaining half of lemon over chicken.
- Mix remaining spices onion powder, garlic powder,salt and thyme and rub the mixture on the chicken surface.
- Bake the seasoned chicken at 375 degrees F uncovered for 1 to 1-1/2 hours
- Chicken juices should run clear and a meat thermometer should read 180 degrees.
- Now cover and let it stand for 15 minutes.
- Remove the skin, lemon and rosemary sprig from cavity.
Your lemon roasted chicken is ready to be served in your dinner.
This chicken looks so good. I have never tried a lemon chicken but I am sure that it will be really good.
