Chicken Lo Mein Recipe is a fantastic, hygienic and delicious Lo Mein Recipes. These Lo Mein Recipes originally come from China, but it's popularity has made it now a American Chinese Cuisine. This Chicken Lo Mein Recipe , I am sharing today takes a little time to cook but highly satisfies your diet. 

Here is a Chicken Lo Mein Recipe :


Ingredients
  • 4 boneless and skinless Chicken Breasts, halved and then cut into thin pieces
  • 1 package Uncooked Linguine Pasta
  • 1 1/4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1/2 pound fresh shiitake mushrooms, stemmed and sliced
  • 5 tsp white Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil, divided
  • 2 tbsp fresh thinly chopped Ginger root
  • 6 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp minced Garlic


Procedure:
  • Combine the chicken with 2 1/2 tsp of white sugar, 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar and 1/4 cup soy sauce in a medium bowl.
  • Coat the chicken well with this mixture. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Mix the chicken broth, water, sesame oil and ground black pepper with the remaining sugar, vinegar and soy sauce in another bowl.
  • Dissolve the cornstarch with a little of above mixture in a small bowl. Slowly add this to the bulk of the mixture, stirring well and set aside.
  • Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of the vegetable oil in a large saucepan at high heat until it starts to smoke.
  • Stir-fry the chicken in it for 4 to 5 minutes until browned. 
  • Transfer this and all juices to a warm plate.
  • Heat the remaining vegetable oil in the pan at high heat.
  • Put ginger, garlic, mushrooms and green onions, and stir-fry them for 30 seconds.
  • Now, add the sauce mixture and then the chicken in it.
  • Simmer this until the sauce begins to thicken for about 2 minutes.
  • Add the reserved noodles and toss gently, coating everything well with the sauce.
