Thai Curry Paste Recipe

Thai Curry Pate Recipe
Thai Curry Paste is very easy to make. Requires a handful of ingredients but is very useful in making any kind of curry and is very popular in any kind of  Thai Curry. It gives an amazing taste to your curry. So let's start making these Amazing Thai Curry Paste. This recipe is more specifically a Thai Green Curry Paste.

  • 1 stalk lemon grass, minced ( 3 tbsp of Bottled lemongrass)
  • 2-3 sliced green chilies
  • 1 shallot sliced ( you can also use 4 tbsp of minced onion)
  • Garlic (4-5 cloves)
  • Ginger finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped Coriander (fresh leaves and stem)
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder.
  • 1/2 cup fresh Basil
  • 1/2 tsp ground White pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder.
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce ( Or same amount of Soy Sauce for Vegetarians)
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar
  • 3-4 tbsp Coconut milk to blend all ingredients together.
  • Put all ingredients together in a blender.
  • Blend well until it forms a fragnant Thai green curry paste
  • You may add lemon juice if it tastes too salty and add more chili if you want to spice up the paste more. 
You Thai Curry Paste is now ready to be used. You can use them in Thai Curries, or other spicy recipes you are going to prepare.
You can bottle up this paste and store it in a Fridge for later use too.
