Sushi Rolls
Sushi Roll Recipe is a perfect Japanese traditional food to have. Sushi rolls have a lots of variety depending upon the type of sushi. Sushi originally consists of cooked vinegared rice (shari) combined with other many ingredients (Neta). So, types of Sushi varies according to Neta and the presentation of sushi, and so does the type of Sushi Rolls vary. Sea food is most usually used in Sushi Roll Recipe, here in this recipe I have used Imitation Crab meat. Sushi Rolls are classic Japanese Cuisine, and very delicious to eat, and if you cook it proper it will make you feel like you're in Japan.


So, here is my Sushi Roll Recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup uncooked White rice (short grains)
  • 1/2 pound imitation Crabmeat, flaked
  • 3 tbsp rice Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cucumber, peeled and cut into small strips
  • Nori Seaweed sheets
  • 2 tbsp pickled Ginger
  • 1 Avocado
  • 3 tbsp white Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
Procedure:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Boil 1 1/3 cups of water in a medium saucepan.
  • Stir rice in and reduce heat. Cover and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Mix the rice vinegar, salt and sugar in a medium bowl and add this mixture into the rice with a stir.
  • Heat nori in the preheated oven 1 to 2 minutes, until warm in a medium baking sheet.
  • Center one sheet nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Wet your hands and spread a thin layer of rice on the sheet of nori, and press into a thin layer.
  • Arrange 1/4 of the cucumber, ginger, avocado, and imitation crab meat in a line down the center of the rice.
  • Gently roll the mat from the end over the ingredients, pressing gently to make a complete roll.
  • Repeat the same with remaining ingredients.
  • Cut each roll into 4 to 6 slices using a sharp and wet knife.
Your Sushi Rolls are now ready to be served. Have fun with this exquisite Japanese Cuisine.

  2. You left a very important ingredient: wasabi. The Japanese will not eat sushi without wasabi. If it's too hot for your taste, you can dilute it with soy sauce and lemon juice. But some prefer to mix the wasabi with the sushi in its raw, undiluted form.
